Privacy Policy
The app keeps your garden plan on your iPhone. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no server of ours. We do not collect, sell or share your information.
What the app stores on your device
To build your planting calendar, the app saves the following in its storage on your iPhone:
- The ZIP code you enter, and any frost date or growing zone you change by hand
- The plants you choose and their planned dates
- The tasks you mark as done and the dates you did them
Frost dates, growing zones and planting rules are built into the app, so looking them up for your ZIP code doesn't send it anywhere. This information never leaves your device unless you choose to export or share it.
Location
The app never asks for your location. It uses only the ZIP code you type in.
Reminders
If the app offers planting reminders, it asks for notification permission only when you turn on your first reminder. Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone.
Purchases
If the app offers an App Store purchase, Apple processes the payment. The app never sees your payment details or Apple Account information.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your plan stays on your iPhone until you edit or delete it, or delete the app. Deleting the app removes its data from the device. Your iPhone's own backups (iCloud Backup or a computer) may include the app's data, as set up in iOS.
Children
Because the app has no accounts and collects no personal information from anyone, it does not collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
This is a draft for an app that is still being built. It will be updated before the app is released, and the date above will change.
